On your iOS phone:

Tap the menu (three-dot) button at the bottom and tap Settings

To block pop-ups: tap Privacy and security, and then tap Pop-ups: turn Block toggle to On or Off

To block Ads: tap Content blockers, turn on the Block ads toggle switch
