Assume that you post a general journal line by using a voucher in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. If you post a general journal line by using the voucher again, you receive an incorrect error message that does not inform about the correct date when the voucher is used. For example, you post a general journal by using a voucher Voucher1 and date Date1. If you post a general journal by using the voucher Voucher1 again and date Date2, you receive an error message that resembles as following:
You expect receive an error message that resembles as following:
Voucher Voucher1 is already used as of date Date2.
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
Voucher Voucher1 is already used as of date Date1.
- You set the value in the Check for voucher used field to Reject duplicate.
- You set the number sequence of the voucher series to manual.
