Make a Skype video call

Windows 10 Mobile has Skype video calling built in, which means you can make free Skype video calls over Wi‑Fi or cellular data* without installing another app. It's an easy way to see someone's smiling face and keep in touch.

  1. On Start

    Start symbol
    , swipe over to the All apps list, and then select Skype video.

  2. Select someone in your call history, or select Phonebook > choose a contact > Skype video.

  3. Enjoy catching up. Video face-to-face with the front camera, or select Switch camera

    to switch to the rear camera to show them what you can see, without turning your phone around.

  4. When you're done talking, select End call

To answer an incoming Skype video call, select Video . If you want to talk without video, select Audio .
