When signing in Windows 7, I was prompted that I didn't login Group Policy Client server. The access is denied. What should I do?
This server is automatically run by default. This issue can be caused by some third-party applications changing the user profile access. We could solve it by adding permission.
Before boot or reboot, keep clicking F8 and a "Advanced Boot Options" window will pop up. Then, move the highlighted banner with up and down arrows on the keyboard to select "Safe Mode", and press Enter.
Login the problematic user account and note the username which will be used later. (For example: ekbtest)
PS: If you cannot enter the Safe Mode, you may try Onekey Recovery or using repair disc for repair operating system.
In the Safe Mode, open "Start - Run", type the command regedit.exe, and then press Enter to launch "Registry Editor".
In the Registry Editor, find HKEY_CURRENT_USER and right-click to select "Permission".
When a dialog window pops up, click the "Add" button.
Enter the username noted above in the "Object Name" column, and click OK.
Back to the "Permission" window, there will be a user "ekbtest" added in the "Group or Username" and selected by default. Click to check the checkbox behind the permission column "Full Control", and then press "OK" to save the settings.
Similarily, we can add a user named "system" and set up the full control permission.
Then, exit the Registry Editor and reboot the computer. Is the issue solved now?
