Outlook 2010 does not display folders moved in a shared mailbox

Applies to: Microsoft Outlook 2010
Consider the following scenario:
You are configured as a delegate to a manager's mailbox.
You use Microsoft Outlook 2010 to connect to the manager's shared mailbox.
You move a folder in the manager's mailbox.
In this scenario, the folder does not appear in the folder hierarchy of the shared mailbox until you restart Outlook.
This is a known limitation in Outlook 2010.
In early builds of Outlook 2010, if you create a new folder, it also does not appear in the folder hierarchy of the shared mailbox until you restart Outlook. To resolve the issue in which newly created folders do not appear in the shared mailbox folder hierarchy, apply the following update:
2597137 Description of the Outlook 2010 hotfix package (x86 Outlook-x-none.msp, x64 Outlook-x-none.msp): February 28, 2012
Note The Outlook 2010 hotfix package dated February 28, 2012 (KB2597137) only resolves the issue with new folders that you create in the shared mailbox. It does not resolve the issue with moved folders that do not appear in the shared mailbox.
