FIX: Synchronize command copies SSAS 2017 tabular model database role membership even when Skipmembership is used

Consider the following scenario:
  • You use Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Analysis Services (SSAS 2017) tabular model database. 
  • You use SkipMembership and synchronize command to copy database. 
In this situation, you will notice that the database role membership is also copied even when the SkipMembership is used. This applies to 1200 and 1400 model databases.


Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
