Skype for Business 2016 hangs when opening a conversation window

The Microsoft Skype for Business 2016 client stops responding (hangs) for several minutes when it tries to open a new conversation window.


A loop is incorrectly running a very large number of times. This causes the client to hang momentarily.


To fix this issue, install the July 7, 2020, update (KB4484326) for Microsoft Skype for Business 2016.
