Symptoms

Assume that you have Hybrid Buffer Pool enabled on a database in SQL Server 2019. When the Persistent memory (PMEM) devices have low memory, you may notice performance degradation.

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Resolution

This improvement is included in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:

Note To fix this issue, Trace Flag (TF) 888 has to be enabled.
