KB4537452 - FIX: Logreader doesn't execute when you upgrade from SQL Server 2017 to 2019

Symptoms


Under localized (non ENU) environment, assume that you upgrade SQL Server (ENUversion) from 2017 to 2019. When you restartyour system, you may notice that the replication is stopped as logreaderdoesn't execute.

Status


Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
