Note The Windows User Mode Driver Framework service is a driver component that is used by Windows Media Player 10. The Windows User Mode Driver Framework service supports synchronization of content with hardware players. For example, an MP3 device is a hardware player.
- Click Start, click Run, type services.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.
- In the list of services, right-click Windows User Mode Driver Framework, and then click
- Click the General tab.
- In the Startup type box, click
Disabled or Manual, and then click
