When you try to run a command by using Remote PowerShell (RPS) after you move to High Availability/ANSI-D topology in Microsoft Office 365 dedicated, you receive the following error message intermittently:
Processing data for a remote command failed with the following error message: The Windows Remote Shell cannot process the request; the selector value 42543 specified in the request was not found.
An RPS connection may change to another server if it encounters a five-minute Time to Live (TTL) value that is set on a customer vanity URL that was used to make the connection. This problem occurs because the new server cannot complete the request.
To work around this issue, connect directly to the ANSI-D datacenter endpoints. The ConnectionURI should be updated to the following URL format (for example):
