- You have a virtual machine that is running on a Hyper-V host operating system.
- The host operating system is Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2.
- You back up the virtual machine.
When the virtual machine pauses, the uptime value changes to the time when the virtual machine paused. If the virtual machine never pauses, the uptime value changes to the time when the virtual machine was in a stopped state. That is, the uptime value changes to 00:00:00. And, no save or reset logs are created when the backup starts.
