- You perform a backup or run the vssadmin list writers command on one of the cluster nodes.

In this scenario, the backup or list writer operation may log the following error in the Application log on all cluster nodes other than the node that you ran the command on:

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error querying for the IVssWriterCallback interface. hr = 0x80070005, Access is denied.
