In Microsoft Outlook 2013 or Microsoft Outlook 2010, when you delete an item from a public folder, you receive one of the following error messages:
Some items cannot be deleted. They were either moved or already deleted, or access was denied.
Changes made to the item were lost due to a reconnect with the server.
To fix this issue, install the December 8, 2015, update for Outlook 2013. For information about this update, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

If you can't install the update that's mentioned in the "Resolution" section to fix this issue or if you are running Outlook 2010, you can work around the issue by closing and then restarting Outlook. After Outlook has restarted, delete the item. If this issue occurs again after Outlook is running for some time, restart Outlook again.
