Products and Services in FieldOne Sky can be assigned to 1 of 3 product types: Inventory, Non-inventory, and Service.
What is the difference?
Inventory items are tracked in software, and when used during a Work Order are deducted from the warehouse inventory.
Non-inventory items may be added and used during Work Orders but are not tracked in inventory. For example you may specify on a Work Order that you need zip ties, but your organization does not wish to track zip ties in inventory.
Services are not tracked in inventory and do not have model numbers, UPC codes, etc associated with them.
