Changes in Purchase duty 2019 for Austria in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations, 1611 (version 7.1)

Introduction


Startingfrom 01Jan2019 the purchase duty (KU1) is to be paid not at a single rate(standard rate), but a degressive graduated tariff should be used for its calculation

Overview


The hotfix contains changesto support this regulatory update.

Resolution


In the Purchase duty value form (Tax > Setup > Sales tax > Purchaseduty, Purchase duty value) the following fields were added:

Calculation Method field, with the values:

·        Wholeamount – supports flat rate calculation (applicable before year 2019)

·        Interval– supports graduatedrate (applicable fromyear 2019)

Minimum limit, Maximum limit fields –support the threshold limit amounts.

You can define the valid degressive scale as itis shown in the example below:
