Surface Pro X and Windows 11
The Surface Pro X has a custom Microsoft SQ1™ or Microsoft SQ2™ ARM processor. Your Surface comes with:

Surface Pro X has a 13" PixelSense® touchscreen display with 2880x1920 resolution for your images, videos, and calls. Use Eye Contact to adjust your gaze on video calls and connect with your audience. To turn it on, download the Surface app from the Microsoft Store. Open the app and select Eye Contact to turn it on.

Surface Pro X: Up to 15 hours of battery life based on typical Surface device usage. Testing conducted by Microsoft in August 2021 using preproduction software and preproduction Surface Pro X with Microsoft SQ® 1 and Surface Pro X with Microsoft SQ® 2, 256GB, 8GB RAM devices. Testing consisted of full battery discharge with a mixture of active use and modern standby. The active use portion consists of (1) a web browsing test accessing 8 popular websites over multiple open tabs, (2) a productivity test utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, and (3) a portion of time with the device in use with idle applications. Tested with Windows Version 11.0.22000.9 (21H2). All settings were default except screen brightness was set to 150 nits with Auto-Brightness disabled. Wi-Fi was connected to a network. Battery life varies significantly with settings, usage and other factors.

Tested with Windows Version 10.0.19041.1(20H1) and Edge version 85.0.564.51. All settings were default except screen brightness was set to 150 nits with Auto-Brightness disabled. Wi-Fi was connected to a network. Battery life varies significantly with settings, usage and other factors.
[3] Wi-Fi models of Surface Pro X come with Windows 11 Home on ARM. LTE models of Surface Pro X come with Windows 10 Home on ARM. Windows 10 on ARM does not install 64-bit applications that have not been ported to ARM. At this time, Pro X with Windows 11 Home on ARM will not install some games and CAD software, and some third-party drivers or anti-virus software. Free upgrade to Windows 11 when available. The Windows 11 upgrade will be delivered to qualifying devices late 2021 into 2022. Timing varies by device. Certain features require specific hardware (see aka.ms/windows11-spec).
