The Photos app in Windows 10 Mobile uses the magic of OneDrive to put your whole photo collection at your fingertips—not just photos and videos from your phone's camera roll, but from your other devices too.
On Start Asset not found, swipe over to the All apps list, and then select Photos to open the app to Collection view. Collection view is organized by date, with your most recent shots at the top. Swipe left to see your photos organized into albums.
To see only the photos taken with your phone, swipe over to Folders, then select Pictures > Camera Roll.
Make sure your Camera Roll photos are automatically uploaded to OneDrive so they're available to you from your PC and other devices too. In the Photos app, select See more > Settings > Manage OneDrive upload settings. This will open the OneDrive app to Camera upload settings. Make sure that this is set to On.
If photos from your PC or other devices aren’t already on OneDrive, here’s how to add them.
On a PC running Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, open File Explorer, then drag the Pictures folder from This PC to OneDrive.
On iOS, Mac OSX, or Android, install the app and then add your photos from that device to OneDrive.
OneDrive photos don’t take up space on your phone, but viewing them may use more data. To stop showing them on your phone, open Photos and select See more then Settings. Under Microsoft OneDrive, turn off Show my cloud-only content from OneDrive.
