If your laptop, tablet, or phone doesn’t support Miracast, plug in a video cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, or VGA) into your device to project your screen. If you’re using a VGA cable and want to share audio, plug the audio cable into your device too.
To stop projecting, just unplug the cables from your device.
If you have a laptop, tablet, or phone that's already connected to the Surface Hub, you'll see a small thumbnail image of it in the Connect app. To project, select the thumbnail.
For info on how to share the screen with people on a Skype call, see Present the screen (or stop presenting) during a call.
