Symptoms
When you print a worksheet that contains a background graphic in Microsoft Excel, the graphic is not printed. The background graphic is also not displayed in print preview.
Cause
This issue occurs because background graphics cannot be printed in Excel.

To add a graphic to the background of an Excel worksheet, follow these steps:

Open the worksheet in Excel.

On the Format menu, click Sheet, and then click Background.
Note In Microsoft Office Excel 2007, click Background in the Page Setup group on the Page Layout tab. -
Select the graphic that you want to appear as the sheet background, and then click OK.
