The keyboard and the focus for combo boxes do not work as expected on a device that is running a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 operating system image

You have a device that is running a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 operating system image. You run an application that contains combo boxes on this device. However, the handling of the keyboard and the focus for combo boxes differs from the following operating systems:
  • Versions of Windows Embedded CE 6.0 operating system images that are earlier than Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3
  • Windows desktop operating systems
For example, you must use the Left Arrow and Right Arrow keys instead of the Up Arrow and Down Arrow keys to move through items in a combo box.

This problem occurs because of a regression in the Gwes.dll component that is included in Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3.
