Changes to the Response Group Service do not take effect after you install the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 cumulative updates that are dated July 2010

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You install the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 cumulative updates that are dated July 2010.
  • You create a new Response Group object or you update an existing Response Group object in the Response Group Service.
In this scenario, the changes that you made to the Response Group Service do not take effect. For example, a call fails if the call is routed to the newly created Response Group object or is routed to the existing Response Group object.

Resolution

To fix this problem, install all the following cumulative updates:

Workaround

To work around this issue, you must restart the Response Group Service.
