Прилага се за: Microsoft Office Outlook 2007

This article describes the Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 issues that are fixed in the hotfix package that is dated October 26, 2010.

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You have a computer that has Office Outlook 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed.
    • You create a rule that replies to email messages when the email messages are from certain users.
    • You receive an email message from one of the specified users. This user is a POP3 user or an IMAP4 user.

In this scenario, the reply mail is not sent.

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You have a computer that is running Office Outlook 2007. The computer is also running a MAPI application. The MAPI application uses Outlook’s MAPI.
    • You open a store in Office Outlook 2007.
    • Another user who has different permissions already has a store open in the same window session.

In this scenario, the MAPI application crashes.

  • You sync a contact list from a SharePoint contact list to Office Outlook 2007. Then, you click the email address of a contact in Office Outlook 2007. In this situation, the Internet format of the email address is set to "Send using Outlook Rich Text Format". However, the Internet format of the email address should be set to "Let Outlook decide the best sending format".

  • Consider the following scenario. You open an email message in Office Outlook 2007 and then you open an attachment in the email message. You close the email message or change the email message without closing the attachment. In this scenario, a temp file is created for the attachment. If you repeat this scenario 99 times, you cannot open the 100th attachment. Additionally, you may receive an error message.

  • You remove all the attendees of a meeting request in Office Outlook 2007 SP2 before you send the meeting request. In this situation, you receive the following error message:
Out of memory or system resources. Close some windows or programs and try again.
  • When you view message A in Office Outlook 2007, the body of message A may be replaced by the body of message B.

This issue occurs when the message B download has timed out. In this situation, a part of message B remains. Then, when message A is downloaded, the part of message B is added.

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You apply the update for the Knowledge Base (KB) article 981048 on a computer that has Office Outlook 2007 installed.
    • You print or print preview the calendar in Office Outlook 2007 by using the monthly view.

In this scenario, the appointment end times are not printed or not displayed.

  • You create a form that uses a script in Office Outlook 2007. The script contains more than 4096 characters and the second character in the 4096-character group is a non-US character. In this situation, the script does not run and the script is blank in the script editor. Therefore, the form functionality cannot be used.

  • There is an address book object that tries to resolve a bad mailbox name problem in Office Outlook 2007. However, the address book object causes a crash when the connection manager is still running after EMSMDB32 is unloaded.

  • You experience a crash when the GetProps method is called in Office Outlook 2007. This issue occurs when the GetProps method is called on the root folder of a mailbox that is not the primary mailbox.

  • Office Outlook 2007 may crash on startup. This issue occurs when there are custom forms that were created.

  • After an IMAP4 user applies Office Outlook 2007 SP2, the user cannot open messages from the New Item Alerts window. Additionally, the user receives the following error message:
This message is no longer available. It may have been moved or deleted.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You enable the email tracking feature in Office Outlook 2007.
    • You print an email message together with the tracking information.

In this scenario, the tracking information prints on an additional page even if the tracking information could have been printed on the first page.

This issue does not occur in Office Outlook 2003.

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You access a mailbox in online mode in or you access a shared mailbox in Office Outlook 2007.
    • You group the email messages in the Inbox folder or in the Sent Items folder by one field, such as Subject, From, Size and so on.

In this situation, the email messages are shown in groups and all the groups are systematically expanded.
    • You collapse some groups.
    • You close and then restart Office Outlook 2007.

In this scenario, the collapse state of the groups is not kept. In other words, the last viewed displayed group is not kept.

This issue may also occur when you switch back and forth from folders.

  • After an IMAP4 account user or a POP3 account user applies the Office Outlook 2007 SP2, the user configures a rule to display a desktop alert window when certain email messages have arrived. However, the rule does not work.
