Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you implement the Information Rights Management (IRM) protection on a SharePoint document library, you cannot open the Office PowerPoint Presentations from the document library by using the Download a copy feature. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
    File name.pptx is currently in use. PowerPoint cannot modify it at this time.
  • When you save an Office PowerPoint 2007 file that is originally created in PowerPoint 2003, and then you open the file again, the margins and indents in the file are changed.

  • After you set the update method of the linked object to manual in Office PowerPoint 2007, the Excel object still updates automatically.

  • In Office PowerPoint 2007, after you click a hyperlink in a presentation in slide show mode, the hyperlink no longer changes color to show you have already clicked the hyperlink.

  • 2433043 Slide formatting is lost when you use the Slides.InsertFromFile method to insert slides in Office PowerPoint 2007
