Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
1. You install the "Remote Desktop Session Host" role service on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 R2.
2. You configure the "Remote Desktop Services" or "Terminal Services" to work with a Remote desktop connection broker.
3. You make a remote desktop connection to the computer.
In this scenario, you are unable to make the remote desktop connection and receive the following error message:
Remote Desktop Connection could not find the destination computer. This can happen if the computer name is incorrect or the computer is not yet registered with Session Broker. Try connecting again, or contact your network administrator.

Cause
The "Virtual machine redirection" option is selected on the computer by mistake.
Resolution
To fix the issue, select a correct option between the computer and the Remote Desktop connection broker. For instance, you select the option "No farm membership or redirection" if the computer neither is a farm member nor provdes virtual machine redirection.

The "Virtual machine redirection" is used for remote desktop virtualization. This option is used to provide redirection for virtual machines used in RemoteApp and Desktop Connection.
Here are the steps to change this option:
1. Open the "Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration" menu. This menu locates under "Administrative Tools\Remote Desktop Services" menu.
2. Double click the option under the "RD Connection Broker" item.
3. Click the "Change Settings..." button on the "RD Connection Broker" tab.
4. Choose a proper setting based on your configuration.
