Description of the Access 2010 hotfix package (Ace-x-none.msp): December 13, 2010

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

Assume that you create an open database connectivity (ODBC) link table in Microsoft Access 2010. You connect the ODBC link table to a computer that is running Microsoft SQL Server. Then, multiple users insert data into the ODBC link table at or near the same time. In this situation, another user’s data is displayed in the ODBC link table instead of the data that you inserted. However, the actual data in the SQL table is correct.

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
