This article describes the steps to restore the unread mail folder or any other folder that has been deleted from the Favorites section of Outlook 2010.
- Open Microsoft Outlook and click with the right button of the mouse on the Search folders folder on the menu on the left. Then, click on New search folder.
- Select Unread mail (selected by default) in the New search folder window and click on OK.
- The Unread mail folder appears in Search folders. Click on it using the right button of the mouse and select Show in Favorites.
- The Unread mail folder will now appear in the Favorites section of Outlook 2010.
