Consider the following scenario:
- In Windows Server 2008, you use the DNS Microsoft Management Console (MMC) to create a static A record in an Active Directory-integrated DNS zone.
- In the DNS MMC, on the View menu, you enable Advanced.
- You view the properties for the static A record.
- You click to select the Delete this record when it becomes stale check box.
To work around this issue, use the Dnscmd ageallrecords command to set the time stamp.
