1.  Create two new folders on the computer. For example, create the following folders:

• C:\Win2k3CD 

• C:\Win2k3SP2 

2.  Copy the files and the folders from the original Windows Server 2003 installation disc to the C:\Win2k3CD folder. 

3.  Download the Windows Server 2003 SP2 installation package to the C:\Win2k3SP2 folder. To download the installation package, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=95ac1610-c232-4644-b828-c55eec605d55    

4.  Click Start , click Run , type cmd , and then click OK . 

5.  At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

cd C:\Win2k3SP2 

7.  At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

WindowsServer2003-KB914961-SP2-x86-ENU.exe –x 

8.  When you are prompted, make sure that C:\Win2k3SP2 is listed as the destination folder for the extracted files, and then click OK to extract the files. 

9.  At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

C:\Win2k3SP2\i386\update\update /s:C:\Win2k3CD

The Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 Setup Wizard starts, and the wizard notifies you that Windows Server 2003 SP2 files are being integrated into the Windows Server 2003 installation folder. 

10.  Follow the instructions in the Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 Setup Wizard. 

11.  Click OK when you see the dialog box that indicates that the integrated installation has completed successfully. 

12 At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER after each line:


cd c:\Win2k3CD\i386

Notepad hivesys.inf

13 In notepad, find the following line:

HKLM,"SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LicenseInfoSuites\SmallBusiness","ConcurrentLimit",0x00010003,150

14 Replace the entire line with the following content:

HKLM,"SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LicenseInfoSuites\SmallBusiness","ConcurrentLimit",0x00010001,750

15 Save and close the Hivesys.inf in Notepad.

16 Burn the image into a new CD, the CD must be bootable.
