When you send or receive an instant message that contains a URL in Microsoft Lync Online in Microsoft Office 365 dedicated, the URL in the sent or received message is not formatted as a hyperlink and therefore cannot be clicked. Or, the URL in the sent or received message may be preceded by an underscore (_) character and therefore cannot be clicked.
This issue may occur if the EnableURL value in the registry on the Lync Online client computer is disabled or if an advanced setting is enabled on the server that prevents URLs from being formatted as hyperlinks in instant messages.
If you want the hyperlink to be clickable, contact your Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to have this feature added through a change request.
