After you install Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1), you may encounter one of the following issues:
- When you try to add new files or folders to a TFS 2010 server in Microsoft Visual Studio, the TFS 2010 server is slower than a TFS 2008 server to perform the operation.
- When you click a certain source control folder, or when you check out files in TFS server, Source Control Explorer in Visual Studio stops responding.
These issues occur because the performance of the Prc_QueryItemsExtendedLocal, Prc_ichecklockstatus, and Prc_pendadd Transact-SQL stored procedures is slow in TFS 2010.
