  • When you try to remove a paste link between two tasks of an inserted project from a master project in Office Project 2007, the link cannot be deleted completely. Additionally, you receive the following message when a recalculation occurs:

This field contains data that is dynamically linked to another field or program. If you clear or change the information in this field, all links included in this link will be removed. Do you want to continue to remove the entire link?
  • The GetServerProjectGuid method in the VBA code does not return a correct GUID when you run the VBA code in Office Project 2007.
  • Assume that you create a new project that has the same name as an existing project in Office Project 2007. When you try to save the new project to overwrite the existing project, you receive the following error message:

The following job failed to complete.

    Job Type: Save
    Error ID: 1001 (0x3E9)
Error Description: Project Server was unable to process the request.

The project could not be saved to the server. Please retry saving the project. If the problem persists, save the project as a MPP file and contact your system administrator.

  • You add actual cost values intoa time phased grid in Office Project 2007. Then, you clear the Actual Costs are always calculated by Microsoft Office Project calculation check box. In this situation, thecost values and actual cost values in the time phased grid disappear.
