Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
- In a mixed Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 environment, you have a mailbox that is located on an Exchange Server 2003 server.
- You create a rule for the mailbox.
- The rule name contains double-byte character set (DBCS) characters.
- You move the mailbox to an Exchange Server 2007 server.
Cause
This issue occurs because Exchange Server 2007 uses an incorrect code page when you move a mailbox to an Exchange Server 2007 server.

To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
