Symptoms
Media connectivity cannot be established for client desktop sharing or application sharing sessions using Office Communicator 2007 R2
Cause
More than 9 physical or virtual IP addresses have been applied to Windows server or client based computer that supports the Microsoft implementation of Interactive Connectivity Establishment (ICE). This limitation is by the design of the Office Communicator 2007 R2 ICE client connectivity check procedure.
Note Physical or virtual IP addresses can be applied to more than one physical or virtual network adapter that is installed locally on the Windows server or client based computer.

Resolution
The workaround for this issue is to apply only 9 physical or virtual IP addresses to the network adapters that are installed on the Windows client based computer.
More Information
To work-around this limitation in Server-Side Application Virtualization Environment (where it is most likely to manifest) the option of using Xen App 4.5 Virtual IP Functionality was explored. Xen App 4.5 Virtual IP Functionality on Windows Server 2003 does not work with Communicator. Please refer to Administrators Guide for CPS 4.5 for more details.
