Summary
This article describes the issues that are fixed in the PerformancePoint Services for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 hotfix package that is dated June 28, 2011.
INTRODUCTION
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
-
Consider the following scenario:
-
You create a chart report in PerformancePoint Services.
-
You create a Member Select filter for the report.
-
You set the dimension of the filter to the default member.
-
You open the report.
In this scenario, the filter on the report shows the first member of the dimension instead of the default member. -
-
The dimension hierarchies are missing in a PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer analytical report. This issue occurs when the analytical report is based on a Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server cube.
-
Consider the following scenario:
-
A PerformancePoint Services filter is connected to a SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report on a PerformancePoint Services dashboard.
-
You change the value in the filter.
-
You export the SSRS report to Excel.
In this scenario, the report that you exported does not show the new data that is filtered after you changed the value in the filter. -
-
Certain hierarchies are missing when you use the Drill To command in the context menu in PerformancePoint Services.
-
Filter members are not displayed in alphabetical order when you use a custom MDX filter or a Named Set filter in PerformancePoint Services.
Note Filter members are displayed in alphabetical order in Office PerformancePoint Server 2007.
Resolution
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

To apply this hotfix, you do not have to make any changes to the registry.
File information
This hotfix may not contain all the files that you must have to fully update a product to the latest build. This hotfix contains only the files that you must have to correct the issues that are listed in this article.
The global version of this hotfix package uses a Microsoft Windows Installer package to install the hotfix package. The dates and the times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in the following table. When you view the file information, the date is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
