An update for Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 is available that lets pointing devices that use absolute coordinates connect to any local station. Examples of such devices include certain kinds of touch screens and interactive whiteboards.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
