FIX: An update is available to fix two issues in which you receive messages in Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3

An update is available for Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 that resolves the following issues.

Issue 1

Consider the following scenario:
  • You run a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device that is configured as a web server.
  • The web server has the secure socket layer (SSL) protocol enabled.
  • A client uses Internet Explorer to open a page that is hosted on the web server. When the page is opened, you receive the following certificate warning message:
There is a problem with this website's security certificate.
In this scenario, the page cannot be opened, and you receive the following message:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

This issue occurs because of a hash inconsistency problem in the Transport Layer Security (TLS) handshake message. The message is created by the server side of the Windows CE web server.

Issue 2

The handshake is not handled correctly for some special kinds of messages. This results in a message decryption failure in the SChannel.
