Description of the 2007 Office system hotfix package (Oartconv-x-none.msp, Oart-x-none.msp): October 25, 2011


This article describes the 2007 Microsoft Office system issues that are fixed in the hotfix package that is dated October 25, 2011.


Issue that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you move a chart data series that is plotted on a primary axis to a secondary horizontal axis in Office Excel 2007, the log and log base settings of the primary axis are not inherited. Additionally, if you display the secondary axis by using the default option, the log property from the primary axis is not inherited.

  • Assume that you apply underline formatting on some text that uses a printer font in Office PowerPoint 2007. When you print the text on a PostScript printer, the underline formatting is printed as a black box.

  • Under certain conditions, lines are not drawn perfectly vertical or perfectly horizontal as expected in Office Excel 2007.

  • When you open a workbook in Office Excel 2007, existing combo charts and XY scatter series on the secondary axis are not displayed.

You must have the 2007 Microsoft Office suite Service Pack 2 or the 2007 Microsoft Office suite Service Pack 3 installed to apply this hotfix package.
