Consider the following scenario:
- A user is in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment.
- The user has certain phonetic attributes that begin with msDS-Phonetic in Active Directory schema attributes.
- You disable the user’s mailbox.
This issue occurs because the Exchange Server 2010 server incorrectly clears these attributes when it disables the user’s mailbox.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
