Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
- You have a computer running Windows 7.
- The graphics adapter does not have any onboard dedicated graphics memory.
- The Windows Experience Index (WEI) tool has been run to calculate a score that rates your computer's performance.
- You select “View and print detailed performance and system information” to view the current WEI results.
Cause
Since there is no dedicated graphics memory detected, WEI will report "Not detected" instead of the total available graphics memory.
Resolution
This wording can be safely ignored as it does not affect the performance of Windows.
