The date control does not recognize a date when you manually enter the date in the Enterprise Portal website in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Assume that you use the date control in Enterprise Portal in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. You set the format to use the short date string (DD/MON/YYYY). When you enter the date in this format in the Enterprise Portal website, you receive an error message. The date control does not recognize the date.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
