Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2012 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2012 fix release.

Symptoms

After you run the UpdateCells command two or more times to update the value of one cell in a write-enabled cube in SQL Server 2012 by using the same value in the same session, the command fails. Additionally, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
