INTRODUCTION
This article describes a country-specific update that is available for the Spanish payments due date compliance report in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
More Information
Currently, the Spanish payments due date compliance report calculates payments that are made outside payment terms by using the due date that is agreed with the corresponding vendor. This due date is stored in the Due date field in the vendor transactions. However, according to the legislation, the Spanish payments due date compliance report should calculate payments by using the due date that is allowed by law instead of the due date that is agreed with the vendor.
After you apply this update, the report will calculate payments that are made outside payment terms by using the due date that is allowed by law.
This update contains the following changes:

When you post an invoice through an invoice journal or an invoice register, the Delivery date value is stored in the vendor invoice journal.

When you post an invoice through an invoice register, the Terms of payment value is stored in the vendor invoice journal.

The Spanish payments due date compliance report is updated to calculate payments that are made outside payment terms by using the due date that is allowed by law.

The due date limit is effective now. The Due date limit value that is matched with the Delivery date value or the Transaction date value in the vendor invoice journal will be used for the allowed due date calculation.
Note When the delivery date is not enabled for the due date calculation in the terms of payment, the Due date limit value will be matched with the Transaction date value in the vendor invoice journal.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
