INTRODUCTION
This article describes that a country-specific update is available to comply with the Prompt Payment Law requirements in free text invoices in Spain in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
More Information
According to the Spanish legislation, the payments due date should be calculated by using the delivery date and the due date limit that is required by law. After you apply this update, the due date of free text invoice will be calculated by using the delivery date and the due date limit.
This update contains the following changes:

When you register a free text invoice, the Delivery date should be specified.
-
When you post a free text invoice, the due date value will be calculated by using the due date limit and the delivery date or the invoice date.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
