In this case, a corrupted index catalog for the mailbox database is logging the following event in the Application log:
- Open the Microsoft Exchange Management Shell, and then locate the following folder in the location where Exchange is installed: <Drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Scripts
- Run the ResetSearchIndex.ps1 script as follows:
.\ ResetSearchIndex.ps1 –force "Database Name"
Event ID 110 will be logged in the Application log when the catalog indexing finishes.
