An update that includes a new time zone for Libya is available for Windows CE 5.0. The government of Libya has announced the following changes to the country's time zone definitions:
- The Libya time zone was changed to UTC+1 for the duration of 2012. This change started at 2:00am on November 10, 2012.
- For all coming years, summer time (UTC+2) begins at 1:00am on the last Friday in March, and winter time (UTC+1) begins at 2:00am on the last Friday in October.

Restart requirementAfter you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:
Method 1On the Build OS menu, make sure that the following options are selected, and then click Sysgen:
- Clean Before Building
- Copy Files to Release Directory After Build
- Make Run-Time Image After Build
Method 2On the Build OS menu, click Open Release Directory. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press Enter:blddemo clean -q
