Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Office Web Apps Server. This update provides the latest fixes for Office Web Apps Server. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.

Issue that this update fixes

Consider the following scenario:
  • Excel Online is hosted on a SharePoint Server 2013 server.
  • You create a wiki page in Excel Online.
  • You add an Excel Web Access (EWA) web part to the page, and then you point the web part to an Excel workbook.
  • You add a text filter to the workbook, and then you connect the workbook to the EWA web part.
  • You save the page.
  • You enter a value in the text filter and then press ENTER.
In this scenario, the value in the workbook on the SharePoint webpage is not updated.
