Can't upgrade Internet Explorer in Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2

When you try to install Internet Explorer 10 or 11 in Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, the operation may not be completed successfully, Additionally, you may receive an error message. This problem may occur for various reasons. To successfully install Internet Explorer, follow these steps.
Internet Explorer 10 is included with Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. Therefore, you don‘t have to install Internet Explorer 10 on those operating systems.
If you try to reinstall Internet Explorer 10 after you recently uninstalled it, the installation process may not work. This problem may occur if the system has not finished removing temporary setup files that are required for the initial installation process. If you recently uninstalled Internet Explorer 10, we recommend that you wait 20 minutes before you try to reinstall it.
Also make sure that your video card driver is compatible with Internet Explorer 10. You may receive error code 9C57 or 9C59 when you try to install Internet Explorer 10 with an incompatible video card driver. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.
In the navigation pane (on the left), click Check for updates.
Click <Number> important updates are available in the Windows Update window to check whether Internet Explorer 10 or 11 is included in the list of available updates. If Internet Explorer 10 or 11 is in the list, clear the check box to exclude it before you install the other updates.
Suggestion We suggest that you disable antispyware and antivirus software before you install Internet Explorer 10. This action may lower security settings on your computer. If you do this, take any appropriate additional steps to help protect the computer, and then re-enable the antispyware or antivirus software after you install Internet Explorer.
Note Also make sure that you select the appropriate installer for the language version of Windows that you're running. If you use the English version of the installer with a non-English version of Windows, the installation process will proceed in English. However, the installed program will match the language version of Windows that you're running.
If you still can't install Internet Explorer, try to install it in a "clean boot" state. A clean boot starts Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
