INTRODUCTION
This article describes that a country-specific update that enables to print the Finnish and Swedish sales tax reports in a currency that is specified in the corresponding sales tax code is available in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.
More Information
Currently, the Finnish and Swedish sales tax reports are always printed in the company currency in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2. However, if you set up a foreign currency in a sales tax code, you should be able to generate a sales tax payment report for the sales tax code in the foreign currency.
After you apply this update, you can print the Finnish and Swedish tax reports in a currency that is specified in the tax code, and also in any other currency that is specified when you print the reports.
After you apply this update, the report view will depend on the following settings:

Tax currency
The system uses the tax currency to filter tax transactions. If the Tax currency field is empty, all tax transactions will be printed in report in the reporting currency. -
Reporting currency
The system uses the report currency to print the report. If the reporting currency equals to the tax currency, amounts from tax transactions will be printed in the report independent on the Currency rate on reporting date field. If not, the amounts will be recalculated by using the reporting currency. -
Currency rate on reporting date
The currency rate on the reporting date for the reporting currency will be used for all transactions when the system recalculates the transactions. If not, the reporting currency rates for recalculation will be used by the transaction date. -
Reporting date
This date is the end of the reporting period.
