Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You install the update that is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 2795719 on a computer that is running Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012.

  • You set Korean as the keyboard input language on the computer.

  • You press Alt+Tab.

In this scenario, the Explorer.exe process crashes.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install update rollup 2876415, or install the hotfix that is described in this article.

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
